after a short
and semi-sleepless night;
maybe,
another couple of prayers,
a second breakfast
(with a bite of protein)
and some more coffee
will make
the rest of the day right.

with a list of chores
that can't
be left undone -
perhaps
I should consider
an afternoon nap
or a walk in winter's
warm sun.
