It rained last night, when I got up this morning there was a puddle of rain water in my driveway. There was a 20% chance of rain today. I washed a load of laundry anyway. I hung them out this morning and brought the last time in a few minutes ago. I washed a total of four items and it took all day for them to dry.
Now I know why my grandmother never did laundry when there were a lot of clouds in the sky. It takes too long for the cloths to dry. Of course, in Oklahoma clouds and a 20% chance of rain indicated that it would rain. In Las Vegas, even during monsoon season, a 20% chance of rain means there is an 80% chance that it will not rain. It did not rain and the sheets eventually dried, I am happy.
