I have to admit that earmuffs bring back pleasant memories of my childhood. My grandmother wouldn't let my siblings and me go out doors in winter without putting a pair of earmuffs on us. I liked and still like the way earmuffs feel on my ears.
March 13 is Ear Muff Day. On March 13, 1877, Chester Greenwood, the father of the Earmuff, patented his "Champion Ear Protector", which becames known as the "ear mufflers" and later "earmuffs".
