It's a new day and for thousands of people across the planet a New Year. Today many people are celebrating Naw-Ruz, which means New Day. Naw-Ruz is the beginning of the New Year 166 BE. This afternoon, I'm going to a Naw-Ruz celebration at the Baha'i Center in Las Vegas.
Naw-Ruz is a time of celebration and joy, the month of ‘Alá (Loftiness), the time of fasting has ended, and the month of Bahá (Splendor) has begun. Spring has also begun in the Northern Hemisphere. This year the sun crossed the vernal equinox on March 20 at about 4:44 AM Pacific Time.
Today, March 21, is the first full day of spring. When I went out to get the paper this morning street I live on was cover with yellow blooms that feel from some of the neighbors trees. I heard birds singing, proclaiming their joy because of a new day and a New Year. In addition, the neighbor's flowers are blooming revealing bright spring colors. It's a beautiful start to a New Year.
Happy Naw-Ruz

Happy New Year
Spring is my favorite time of year. Here and there I'm seeing buds, but the weather isn't full bloom, yet.
