Today I am thankful for the early morning rain, which came just before dawn this morning. When I looked out my kitchen window the cement bricks covering the ground were wet. It didn't rain much, but just enough to clear the air and make the morning smell fresh. It's been cloudy off and on all week, but this is the first time I've noticed the ground being wet.
