The
good news is that I didn't gain any weight and I didn't lose any. I
weighted the same as I did in December when I went to another doctor. My
kidney function has changed so that's another piece of good news. The
bad news is that when I went to pick up my prescriptions today they cost
$3.30 each instead of $2.95. In addition to the rise
in prescription prices, I also have co-pays when I go to a specialist.
This means that any specialist I go to I have to pay a $10.00 co-pay.
I
know that doesn't sound like much, but when that's added to the extra
$50.00 I have to pay for rent that adds up. I know one thing, I'm
probably not going to do this is have a podiatrist cut my toenails. I know they need cut, but I'm going to have to figure out a way to do it myself. I have to go to nephrologist
(kidney doctor) and an optometrist because of medical conditions those
doctors specialize in, but I don't necessarily have to go to a
podiatrist. All though I will admit having a podiatrist cut my toenails
is cheaper than having a pedicure which I don't think is necessary.
