The smoke alarm goes off
Time for breakfast
A Senryu is similar to an haiku except for the subject. The subject of a haiku concerns nature while a senryu is about
human beings and their life. I got the idea for the above poem when
breakfast was cooking. The smoke alarm in the living room goes off
whenever we fry something on the stove. Cooking in the microwave or the
electric oven doesn't set the smoke alarm off, but every time we fry
something on top of the stove it set off the smoke alarm.
