and I know how a butterfly larva feels in its cocoon
while its wings are growing,
while its body is transforming from a creature crawling on the ground
into a creature of the air.

Four months into 2008
and I am still in the process of transformation
of becoming my true self.

Four months into 2008
and I know that the process will continue
at varying rates of speed the rest of my life
and into eternity.
