One Hundred Words

I reread the words I'd written,
I listened for the voice of fear,
and found it expressed in each line.

I heard the question
reverberating through my mind:
Can I write two hundred words?

Did I detect
the voice of terror echoing
between the line?

Were those tears I heard,
in the unwritten words?

One hundred words to motive.
One hundred questions asked.
Can one hundred questions be answered
in one hundred words?

Tuesday Thoughts: Contemplating Words and Spirituality

Thinking in pictures 

I contemplate the words that 

Create a poem 

In the month of Words, I think about writing a prose poem about spirituality. I contemplate the meaning of spirituality in the context of my soul. I think about the sacred scriptures revealed throughout the millennia of humanity spiritual evolution. I wonder if there was a time in the spiritual history of the species when humanity had difficulty accepting the existence of a single divine creative force. 

I contemplate the meaning 

Of Divine unity 

And its relationship to 

Humanity's search for truth. 

It is the month of Words and words is an attribute of God. I think about the beginning of the Universe, of the Cosmos, when God spoke the word BE. God spoke the word BE and brought creation into existence. In the beginning, the Divine Creative Force – the force that we humans call God – brought  the universe we know into existence by speaking a word, by saying BE and primordial atom exploded. Whatever happened after the Divine Essence spoke BE it lead to the universe as we know it or are attempting to know it today. 

I contemplate the human soul 

And realize that I, 

Like the rest of the human species, 

Am a spiritual creature having 

A material, a physical, experience. 

Three Times and counting in Las Vegas

I am on my way to being an “unhappy camper”. I had to restart my computer three times today and it is still morning. I am not sure how much I will accomplish, but I intend to accomplish something today. I would like to write 2,000 words before 9:00 PM. I will write 2,000 words if my computer cooperates. If the computer continues freezing up and the CPU running at 100%, I have no idea how many words I will write.

My daily word count goal is 2,000 and I know I can accomplish that. I am just not sure I can accomplish it when the computer needs turning off and on about every two or three hours. It takes the computer about five or six minutes perhaps more to load everything, it needs after restarting or turning it off and back on.

Once I turned everything off; the computer, monitor, and the cable modem. I thought that might solve my problem, but it did not. I had to turn the computer off an hour after that because the CPU was running at 100%. I need to upgrade the technology. I need a faster computer to go with the cable modem. Once I get a faster computer then I will probably need a new printer. I will just have to shop around and see what type of deal I can get, in the mean time I will work with what I have and back up my files.
