Food for My Soul

Word by word,
sentence by sentence,
paragraph by paragraph,
and page by page
I consume food of the spirit
revealed by Baha'u'llah.

The scripture of the Blessed Beauty
feed my soul
with the bread of life,
and wine of immortality.

World of the Spirit

lose is for the material world
death and taxes
flowers wilt in their vase
death's cold kiss on a tear streaked face
this is matter not spirit

spirit ascends
always rising
spirit isn't in the body

this body is the umbilical cord connecting spirit and matter

Spirit of the Age

From time immemorial,
God's promised humanity
peace and unity.

In this age,
peace is inevitable
and unity unstoppable.

A Divine Creation

The soul is a divine creation!
A single undivided substance
that has neither beginning nor ending.

Its association,
with the body begs at conception.

The soul's association
with the body,
educates the human spirit;
gives it a chance to develop
the attributes
God endowed it with.

When the body dies
the spirit,
the soul,
ascend into the next world
taking with it
the attributes it developed
while in association
with the physical body.

The Soul

The human spirit
is a bright blue flame burning
with the love of God.
