April was National Poetry Month and I managed to write 28 poems. That was almost a poem a day, unfortunately because I was ill for about three days I missed two poems. I should not complain because despite being sick for three day, I managed to review enough items on writing.com so that I earned enough Gift Points to renew my premium membership for another month. My membership now expires on May 31, 2013.
The problems was my concentration, I could only concentrate for about an hour at a time before I started to fall asleep at the keyboard. It is not a good idea for me to fall asleep at my computer keyboard because I fall out of my chair when I drop off to sleep while working online. When I catch myself starting to doze off, I have to get up and go lay down on the couch for a short nap. When I am sick, my naps last for three or four hours at a time, which makes it difficult to get anything accomplished online.
I do not like being sick because it puts me behind on almost everything. I do not like being ill because it interferes with writing poetry or anything else. I missed two whole days of blog entries. I missed completing a poem a day during National Poetry Month. I missed my coffee because the only thing I wanted to drink was water. I missed meals because I could no eat more then three bites at a time. I missed doing laundry because I did not want to put clothes in the washer that would sit for a couple of day before I could dry them.

I am feeling better this morning
Jalál (Glory), 19 Jalál (Glory), 170 BE - Saturday, April 27, 2013 about 7:04 AM Pacific Time
Last night the temperature in the house rose to 82 degrees, but to me it felt like it was 69 or 70 degrees. I had chills and possibly a fever; however, since I cannot find the thermometer I am not sure about the temperature. I was so cold that I took the wool blanket, which I intended to take to the storage unit and put it over me last night.
I was light headed, an indication that I could not drive myself to the Emergency Room. I did not call an ambulance because I had no desire to chance clothes because I had no desire to get ready and wait for the Emergency Personnel, so I stayed home and covered up with my wool blanket. I feel better this morning, but I am still not up to driving any place today. I may change my mind later this afternoon, but for now I will remain in the house and attempt to get some work accomplished or at least take a nap.

I Think I had a 24 Hour Bug
Jamál (Beauty), 2 ‘Azamat (Grandeur), 165 B.E. – Sunday, May 18, 2008 about 2:02 PM PDT
I spent most of Friday evening and Saturday with the dry heaves, which are very unpleasant. I think I would rather have something coming back up then nothing. I think I had a 24 hour bug because it came on suddenly, lasted 24-hours and left suddenly. I am feeling a lot better today. However, there is no use writing about a 24-hour bug in a transformation blog unless I have learned something from it.
I learned several things. First, I learned that there is no use attempting to write anything or posting to a blog when I am ill. Second, when I get ill and have the dry heaves I think I am going to die. I lived, I am feeling better and if it ever happens again then I am going to make sure I have solid food in my stomach.
A new week has begun and I am feeling better. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow morning for some lab test, not because I was ill, but so I can get back on my meds. I am not sure right now if I will discuss my illness with the doctor or not. If I do it means, I have to stay in the office longer then what I would like. Besides it was only a 24-hour bug, it has left now, so what is the use in saying anything.
