A Sleepless Night

It takes a sleepless night
to make you appreciate sleep.

A night
of tossing and turning,
of getting up and down,
and attempting
to make yourself comfortable.

Will I Be Able To Sleep Tonight

Last night
was a sleepless night.

As the sun sets,
I wonder
if I can sleep tonight.

If I can't sleep,
the next question is
"Do I read
or write poetry?"
