My Soul's Desire

To write
sonnets to the Pen of Glory,
and inscribe odes to the Primal Point.

To express my gratitude
in stanza and line,
in rhythm and rhyme,
in metaphor and simile
for my spirit's birth
in this age of transition.

Celebrating the Day of Glory and the Month of Grandeur

I intone prayers
revealed by the Pen of Glory,
the Blessed Beauty.

I intone prayers
celebrating the month of Grandeur,
the day of Glory.

Each day of the week
commemorates an attribute of God,
and each month of the year
a characteristic of the Almighty.

Every day of the week,
and of the month
is a reason to celebrate;
a reason for praising
the Lord of Glory.
