Day
1 of National Novel Writing Month went well, despite the fact that I
did not get started on my first entry until afternoon. I spent the
morning of November 1 doing business outside of the house. I went to the
bank between 9:00 and 9:30 AM, spent about thirty minutes waiting to
see a teller, cashed a check, withdrew some money, and went to
breakfast. After that I went to Super Cuts to get my hair cut. I spent an hour or so talking to the hairdresser while he cut my hair. The next thing I did was to walked
from Super Cuts down to Smith's Food and Drug to where I caught up with
my roommate. We paid the rent, stopped at CVS, and came home.
The name of my NaNo book this year is The World According to Snow.
I am again attempting to write something personal with spiritual and
religious overtones. I attempt this last year, but the results were not to my liking. This year's book started off better because the first entry is titled Introduction and Invocation. The total word count was 1,773.
