The virtues
of the seeker after truth
are two:
first, to seek knowledge,
second, to pray for blessings.
With these twin virtues
the seeker can discover
the secrets of the universe.

It is a beautiful Sunday morning in Las Vegas. These are some of the blessings God granted me this morning
It is a beautiful Sunday morning in Las Vegas. These are some of the blessings God granted me this morning
- A cloudless blue sky
- Wind blowing through the olive and oak trees
- Bright sunshine casting dark shadows across the front yard
- A fresh carafe of rich dark coffee
- Birds singing when I went out to pick up the newspaper
- Cold cuts and eggs in the refrigerator
- Ice cubes in the freezer
- A joyful mood
- A talk with one of my brothers
- The sound of jets flying overhead
