Yes
is a private choice,
between the lover and the beloved,
whose consequences reverberate
through the sacred scriptures,
the pages of history,
and the stanzas of poems.
Yes!
Proclaimed,
in all its power and glory,
when the question is ask:
Am I not your Lord?
Becomes
salvation's bridge.
Yes!
Repeated
generates echoes,
in the space-time continuum,
that reverberates
through matter and energy,
through mind and spirit,
through past and future
to forge a new world view,
to create a new approach to reality
and to merge
the lover with the beloved.
